Photovoltaic Power into Universities-Inventory Those Beautiful Photovoltaic Campus! 2019-07-03 11:56:37

In China, the college entrance examination has just ended. Do the candidates still worry about what profession to report? Don't worry, some colleges not only open new energy majors, but also install photovoltaic power plants in their own teaching buildings. Today, FGET Solar editor will help you to check those bringing photovoltaic to colleges and universities on campus.

Beijing Jiaotong University

Beijing Jiaotong University New Energy Research Institute has a unique case - the external wall distributed photovoltaic and energy storage application demonstration project. The demonstration project includes 100 electric vehicle charging devices, 300kWp photovoltaic power generation units, 500kWh lithium battery energy storage devices, integrated intelligent monitoring, and power electronics and lithium battery experimental platforms.

The exterior wall of a male dormitory building of Beijing Jiaotong University “crawled” solar panels. The school said that the external wall distributed photovoltaic + energy storage to alleviate the power overload, not only can improve and beautify the appearance of the building, but also generate electricity, and play a good science propaganda effect.

Shanghai University of Electric Power

Shanghai University of Electric Power Lingang New Campus is a smart micro-grid system integrating wind and light storage, including 2 MW photovoltaic power generation distributed in 23 building roofs and a new energy distributed power generation system such as 300 kW wind power generation. This was officially launched in September 2018, and was listed as a “new energy micro-grid demonstration project” by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration. The design concept is “Green City, Times School”, and the construction goal is intelligent, low-carbon, energy-saving, and an environmentally friendly green campus.

It is the only one of the 28 demonstration national projects in Shanghai. It is the only university campus demonstration project in China and the only intelligent micro-grid university in the country.

Buildings such as teaching buildings, dormitory buildings, and functional buildings on campus are covered with solar panel roofs, with an estimated area of 20,000 square meters. The panels are made of single crystal, polycrystalline, PERC, BHPV and other components to generate clean energy, and provide free places for school teachers and students to research new energy technologies.

In order to ensure that the external power supply system loses power, the micro-grid can continue to ensure the important load of the information center computer room and the common load of the two building parts. The system is also equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 100 kW *( 2 hours. 150 kW *2 hours lead carbon battery and 100 kW *10 second super capacitor energy storage equipment. The three energy storage devices are connected to the school's uninterruptible power supply and are connected to the micro-grid system.

On the roof of the new campus apartment building, solar collectors and air source heat pumps are installed to centrally supply domestic hot water. At the same time, the monitoring, control and energy-saving optimization of the hot water system are realized through the system platform. 10 sets of systems, 800 tons of hot water per day, solved the need for more than 10,000 teachers and students to use domestic hot water.

Usually, the information systems of the finance, property, logistics and other departments of the school are not open. In the energy monitoring system, the underlying data of each sub-system is integrated, which becomes the information infrastructure of the “smart campus” energy conservation and emission reduction.

For example, in the winter and summer vacations, the system user management function can remotely monitor abnormal power consumption. If a “condition” occurs in a certain place, it can also remotely find out even the corresponding power supply, replacing the traditional patrol methods that have been used frequently. In addition, the system is also sensitive to the phenomenon of leaks in the groundwater pipe.

Nanchang University

Nanchang University's photo-hydrogen storage and filling intelligent micro-grid system is an independent clean power system consisting of photovoltaic carports, hydrogen fuel cells and lithium-ion batteries, which are completely independent of the grid for charging electric vehicles. It is the world's first-class "new material technology" of Nanchang University. One of the discipline construction projects is undertaken by the Photovoltaic Research Institute of Nanchang University.

The power part of the system consists of 44 kWp PV modules (single-sided nominal power), 120kWh lithium-ion batteries and 5kW hydrogen fuel cells, which are integrated with the Nanchang University Photovoltaic Research Institute in amorphous silicon/crystalline silicon heterojunction (HAC). The high-efficiency double-sided solar cell and lithium-ion battery high-capacity silicon-carbon anode material technology research and development and industrial application results, by the photovoltaic research institute developed low-cost high-efficiency hydrogen generator and supporting continuous hydrogen supply system. The solar cell used in the field has two-way natural light-integrating photoelectric conversion efficiency of 23-26%; the lithium-ion battery anode material specific capacity is 430mAh/g; the low-cost high-efficiency hydrogen-generating agent efficiency is 1 L/g, and the cost is lower than 3 CNY/kg.

Haikou College of Economics

The “3 MW Photovoltaic Building Integration Demonstration Project of Haikou Economic College” is the first demonstration project in Hainan Province to use the idle roof of the campus to install and build a solar photovoltaic power station. The project uses the Haikou Economics College, Hainan Vocational College of Economics and Trade, Hainan Vocational College of Science and Technology, the existing building, teaching building, student dormitory and other public buildings to install solar photovoltaic power generation system, and integrates into the user-side low-voltage power grid through 380 volt low-voltage lines. The total installed capacity is 3 MW. After the completion of the project, the average annual power generation will be 3.9 million kWh. The annual thermal power can save 1320.5 tons of standard coal and reduce the emission of various atmospheric pollutants.

Zhejiang University National Science Park

The 330KW solar grid-connected power generation project of Zhejiang University Science and Technology Park is the first batch of Golden Sun Demonstration Project in 2009. The project is a fixed 380V user-side grid-connected system with a total installed capacity of 332.196KW. The project adopts the ground net ballast support system, which does not damage the original roof structure. It adopts the spontaneous self-use power generation mode to effectively alleviate the voltage use of the enterprises in the Zhejiang University Science and Technology Park, and the system self-use ratio reaches 100% (no power waste).

Shanghai Ocean University

Shanghai Ocean University parking shed, installed capacity of 150kw, covers an area of 1600 square meters, a total of five 30kw inverters. The photovoltaic system in this project should also consider the function of rain protection while meeting the sunshade, so a special pressure plate and waterproof mechanism are used at the joint of the components.

Xi'an Conservatory of Music

Xi'an Conservatory of Music exchange center building photovoltaic integrated design is the implementation of photovoltaic curtain wall technology to combine solar cell modules with glass curtain wall, through the battery to convert light energy into electrical energy, is a combination of power generation, sound insulation, heat insulation, security, decorative functions in one The new optoelectronic integrated construction project.

Tongji University

At the "Solar Decathlon Competition", Tongji University's entry "Bamboo House" attracted a lot of attention, because the entire facade of the suite was made of bamboo, and the interior floor and wall decoration and furniture were mostly made of bamboo. The biggest feature of “Bamboo House” is the combination of traditional Chinese architectural elements and solar photovoltaic power generation systems, using the inclined roof to maximize the effectiveness of solar photovoltaic power generation. Moreover, its main material bamboo is a natural material, which grows fast and is environmentally friendly. “Bamboo House” is a collection of original ecological architecture in southern China.
